The European Open volunteers have an option of staying at school, which is located right next to the course. Volunteers can stay at the school for free. The school accommodation is available from Monday July 15th to Tuesday July 23rd.

The school accommodation isn’t luxurious but everything necessary for temporary accommodation is available at the school: toilets, showers, kitchen, and a quiet spaces for sleeping. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, water kettle, and necessary utensils. We’ll provide breakfast and evening snack supplies for the volunteers staying at the school. Tea and coffee will also be available.

The lounge area next to the kitchen is usually full of fellow volunteers hanging out in the evenings after the tournament rounds. We’ll also provide some laundry detergent so you can wash your clothes by hand if necessary.

Volunteers will be divided to several separate rooms to sleep in, but you’ll be sharing the spaces with other volunteers.

You should bring anything that you’d take on a trip with you. Here are some additional things that you should take with you as well:

  • (Camping) mattress and a sleeping bag (Or bedding; sheets & blanket). Pillow is recommended as well.
  • If you’re a light sleeper we recommend you to bring ear plugs and/or a sleep mask.
  • Towel, toiletry, and other personal hygiene equipment.
  • Clothes for all kinds of weather. (It can get pretty cold and wet in July but also very hot!)
  • Disc golf equipment. (Assuming you want to play disc golf.)

Exact details and more information about the accommodation will be available closer to the event.
