Arrival to Finland (Tampere and Nokia)

Fly straight to Tampere-Pirkkala airport with airBaltic. The airport is just:

  • 15-minute drive from the Beast (Nokia)
  • 20-minute drive from the Monster (Tampere)

You can also fly to Helsinki with multiple airlines and take a train directly to Tampere which takes less than two hours.

How to get to Courses & Parking

Public transport

Thanks to our host cities you can use the public transport for free with the tickets!

Public transport is the easiest way to get to the courses. The nearest bus stops are located close to the venues, and tickets include the right to travel with Tampere Regional Transport Nysse. The right to travel is valid on buses and trams from 07:00 to 22:00 on the day of the event. The ticket is provided by the City of Tampere.

We recommend that you use the Nysse journey planner to find the most suitable travel option. You only need to know your departure point and the address of your destination.

The event venue addresses are:

  • Nokia: Hinttalankatu 6, Nokia
  • Tampere: Soukonvuorentie 14, Tampere

Parking

The parking space at both tournament centers is very limited. Because of this we recommend you to carpool with friends, or arriving by bike, or using public transportation.

If you come by car please be prepared to walk a little from the parking lot to the tournament center. Our staff will direct you to the closest possible vacant parking lot.

Tampere

Parking in Tampere is reserved only for ticket holders. VIP, player and media parking are located next to the tournament center in Soukonvuorentie, Tampere.

For ticket holders, spectator parking is located in Tammer Golf’s golfrange at Tenniskatu 25, Tampere, which is just a 500-meter walk away from the first tee.

Nokia

In Nokia, there is very limited parking space at the tournament center for VIP-ticket holders, players and media close to the tournament center. You can find other parking areas a short walk away, see the map further below.

Other parking areas:

Spectator parking areas: (click the icons in the map above for navigation)

  • Parking 1: Kankaantaankatu 4, Nokia (Nokian palloiluhalli). ~900 m walk to the tournament center.
  • Parking 2: Kankaantaankatu 23, Nokia (School yard). ~500 m walk to the tournament center.
  • Parking 3: Vihnuskatu 3, Nokia (Next to hole 8) ~500 m walk to the tournament center.
  • Parking 4: Souranderintie 3, Nokia (Nokian renkaat parking lot, next to Neste gas station) ~1 300 m walk to the tournament center.
  • Parking 7: Välikatu 1, Nokia (City administration parking lot). ~1 300m walk to the tournament center.

We recommend you to arrive early and to head directly to one of the parking lots above.

VIP-parking

With the VIP ticket, you can park as close to the courses as possible.

VIP parking at the Beast is right next to the hole 18. At Tampere, the VIP Parking lot is between holes 1 and 18.
