European Open is the leading professional disc golf event in Europe, established in 2006. The best disc golfers from all over the world gather in Finland, to compete for the PDGA Major title on July 18-21, 2024.
The 2024 edition of the event is a special one, as the event expands to Tampere. European Open 2024 will be played on two world-class courses: The Beast in Nokia, and Tampere Disc Golf Center in Tampere. Both courses will be played twice. The singles event is preceded by the Presidents Cup on Wednesday, July 17th at Nokia. This prestigious team event puts the best players of Europe against the top talent of the USA in a spectator friendly, compact and exciting team format.
Two locations, two tournament centers
At Nokia, the Tournament center is the heart of the event. It is located at Nokia indoor ice rink, Hinttalankatu 6, 37100 Nokia.
You can find all our services from the tournament center: the info desk, toilets, kiosk and Discmania Pro Shop are inside the ice hall. Right outside the main door is tee of hole #1 with stands and street food – where you can satisfy your hunger and quench your thirst.
At Tampere, the Tournament center will be located at the main parking lot of the course at Soukonvuorentie 14, 33560 Tampere.
Services will vary from Nokia tournament center. Note that Tampere Disc Golf Center rounds will be ticketed.

European Open 2024 in Numbers:
- Dates: July 17-21, 2024, 5 competition days, including Presidents Cup.
- Players: Around 140 Pro and 670 Am.
- Spectators: 15,000 to 20,000 spectators expected during the week.
