The Beast showed its claws on third round, yet some prevailed

Kristin Tattar had some troubles during the third round played at Nokia’s The Beast. Tattar did not play as well as she usually does, and her round score on The Beast was a disappointing +8. In the overall standings, Tattar dropped from first to third place and she’s currently at a total score of -2.

Leading the competition after the third round is Eveliina Salonen, who played a consistent round, finishing with a score equal to the course par. Salonen’s total score is -9, giving her a three stroke lead over Silva Saarinen, who is in second place. Saarinen had the best round of the day, throwing an impressive -5. Saarinen’s total score after three rounds is -6.

Silva Saarinen commented to Frisbeegolfmedia after the round that she played well. However, she was disappointed with hole 16, where she tried to play it safe but ended up with a double bogey.

MPO got to enjoy the third round in sunny weather at Nokia’s The Beast. Leading the competition by three strokes is Gannon Buhr from the United States, who played an incredible bogey-free round with a score of -12. In an interview with Frisbeegolfmedia after the round, Buhr commented that the day went well despite the early wake-up. According to Buhr, the goal for the final day is to avoid taking any bogeys. He’s currently sitting at a total score of -24.

Five-time European Open champion Paul McBeth is currently placed second, three strokes behind the leader. In third place is Richard Wysocki with a score of -20.

Rounding out the lead card is Niklas Anttila, who was visibly disappointed with his round. Anttila played a round score of -7, bringing his total score before the final day to -17, which is 7 strokes behind the leader Buhr.

We have a super exciting final day ahead of us! Make sure to arrive here at The Beast if possible to see the action take place. If you can’t make it to Nokia, you can watch the final round live via Disc Golf Network.
